Property:

It is black amorphous powder or black rhombic crystal, insoluble in water, weak acid, weak base, nitric acid, cold sulfuric acid, and soluble in concentrated hydrochloric acid to produce chlorine gas when heated.

Usage:

1. Used as dry battery depolarizing agent, catalyst and oxidant in synthesis industry, colorant, decolorizing agent in glass industry and enamel industry, etc.

2. Used in the manufacture of metal manganese, special alloys, manganese iron castings, gas masks and electronic materials such as ferrite.

3. Can be used in rubber industry to increase the viscosity of rubber.

4. Can be used as a catalyst in chemical experiments.
