White monoclinic crystal or powder. Soluble in water, the aqueous solution is alkaline. Soluble in glycerol, insoluble in ethanol.

Usage:

1. Sodium sulfate is mainly used as a filler for synthetic detergent.

2. Cooking agent used in the paper industry for the manufacture of sulfate pulp.

3. The glass industry is used to replace soda ash.

4. The chemical industry is used as raw materials for the manufacture of sodium sulfide, sodium silicate and other chemical products.

5. The textile industry is used to prepare vinylon spinning coagulation bath.

6. The pharmaceutical industry is used as a laxative.

7. Also used in nonferrous metallurgy, leather and other aspects.

8. It can be used as a buffer in sulfate galvanizing to stabilize the ph value of the plating solution.
