Property:

Colorless liquid. Melting point -64.6℃, boiling point 146-148℃, 69℃ (6.7kPa), relative density 0.894 (20/4℃), refractive index 1.4174. Flash point (closed cup) 39℃. Soluble in ethanol, ether, acetone and other organic solvents. Almost insoluble in water, solubility in water is 0.14g/100ml (20℃), easy to polymerization by heating, and 100ppm hydroquinone can be added as a polymerization inhibitor.

Usage:

1. Mainly used in the production of synthetic resins, synthetic fibers, synthetic rubber, plastics, coatings, adhesives, etc.

2. Acrylic acid and its esters are widely used in industry. In the process of use, acrylates are often polymerized into polymers or copolymers.

3. Used as paint, adhesive, acrylic fiber modification, plastic modification, fiber and fabric processing, paper treatment agent, leather processing and acrylic rubber and many other aspects.

4. Used as monomer and intermediate for organic synthesis of polymers and resins.
