Property:

Colorless monoclinic crystal. Easily soluble in water, its aqueous solution is alkaline reaction; Insoluble in ethanol.

Usage:

1. Reductive bleaching agent, which has bleaching effect on food and strong inhibition of oxidase in plant food.

2. In the printing and dyeing industry can be used as a deoxidizer and bleach, artificial fiber stabilizer.

3. Used as a reducing agent in the production of dehydrated vegetables.

4. Paper industry used as lignin removal agent.

5. Water treatment industry is used for the treatment of electroplating wastewater and drinking water.
