Usage:
1. Used in meat processing as hair color agent, can improve the flavor of cured meat, can be used as a preservative.
2. Used as a common analytical reagent, oxidant and diazotization reagent, but also used in the synthesis of nitrite and nitroso compounds.
3. It is used as disinfectant and preservative in medicine.
4. For the production of vanillin.
5. Used as a bleach for silk and linen. Mordant for fabric dyeing.
