Property:

White or white crystalline powder, almost odorless, bitter taste

Usage:

1. Histamine H2 receptor antagonists. It can inhibit the gastric acid secretion caused by histamine stimulation, and also inhibit the gastric acid secretion induced by food, pentagastrin, caffeine and insulin, and inhibit the basic gastric acid secretion.

2. For gastric and duodenal ulcer, peptic esophagitis.
