Colorless smoky flammable liquid with strong pungent odor. Soluble in water, ethanol and ether, slightly soluble in benzene.

Usage:

1. Chemical industry: Used in the production of formate series, formamide, trimethylpropane, pentaerythritol, neopentanediol, epoxy soybean oil, epoxy soybean oleate, paint remover, phenolic resin, etc.

2. Leather: leather tanning agent, demarcation agent, neutralizing agent, fixing agent.

3. Printing and dyeing: used to manufacture printing and dyeing coal dyes, fibers and paper dyes and treatment agents.

3. Medicine: Used for the production of caffeine, antylone, vitamin B1, metronidazole, bendazole, flubendazole, etc.

4. Pesticides: Used for the production of triazole, triazophos, tricyclazole, triazolone.
