Property:

White crystal or powder, slightly formic acid odor. Slightly soluble in ethanol, octanol, insoluble in ether. Its aqueous solution is alkaline.

Usage:

(1) Mainly used in the production of formic acid, oxalic acid and insurance powder, etc., and also used in the production of dimethylformamide. Also used in medicine, printing and dyeing industry. 

(2) Used as reagents, disinfectants and mordants for the determination of phosphorus and arsenic.

(3) Used as a preservative. Use 4: For alkyd resin coating, plasticizer, strong.

(4) Used as explosives, acid-resistant materials, aviation lubricating oil, adhesive additives.
